Most of our business comes from the Brevard county area including Cocoa, Rockledge, Indian Harbour, Satellite Beach, Titusville, Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral and the Melbourne--Indiatlantic---Palm Bay--Melbourne Beach---West Melbourne--Malabar--Grant--Sebastian areas....we do get a good deal of traffic from Orlando (30 minutes away) and Vero Beach--- We even have customers from as far away as Miami. Costumes are in demand all year long---including but not limited to---Halloween, Mardi Gras, Easter, Saint Patricks day, Christmas, July 4th, New Years---then there's street parties-----sidewalk fairs and parades-----red hat / purple dress ladies----don't forget political and commercial events .... not to mention playhouses, church events and weddings, private parties (especially kids birthday and of course masquerade), decade day, twin day ----and a large revenue stream comes from----*School Events* including---school reports and essays--proms--dances---band events---homecoming---school plays (a big one)---and all the various sporting activities---many of the ships based out of port canaveral feature a costume night and we are THE costume store. The 'Famous Costume Shack' is very well known and has numerous articles featured every year by local publications including the main newspaper, Florida Today. We set up the 'Mardi Gras Cart' at various fairs and gatherings throughout the year and it's not unusual to do thousands in business for the day. The mobile store is a 26 foot box truck in excellent condition---air conditioned and wired for electricity this can bring the store anyplace you want it to go----works great for those cruise ship costume nights and we even get requests to show up at events around the state.
