This most unique design was awarded a patent based on its inherrant safety features that no other recovery/tow strap has to offer. As evident by the pictures, you have never seen anything so safe and simple to use. As confirmed by our patent attorneys, this new design can not be copied or worked around without infringing on our patent. We assure you it is impossible to create anything similar without breaking the law. Included in the package is a nylon storage bag for easy identification of the strap due to its bright yellow color. The packaging has instructions and information in English and Spanish. To use, simply attach the steel insert into any size hitch (receiver), insert the steel pin and locking clip to hold the steel insert in place. The steel insert is 1/1/4" to allow it to be used in both of the hitch sizes made (2" and 1 1/4") safely and effectively. After the steel insert is properly connected to the hitch (receiver), identify one of the many factory installed attach points located on (under) the vehicle that you will connect to for pulling the stuck/disabled vehicle out of its situation. When one of the factory attach points is located on the vehicle to be recovered, remove the shackle pin from the end of the Simpletow(tm) strap opposite of the steel insert, attach the steel shackle to the factory attach point and install the shackle locking pin to the steel shackle, then rotate the pin so the threads close the gap in the shackle to make a secure connection to the disabled vehicle. At this point you are able to utilize Simpletow(tm) in the correct fashion. With the strap securely attached, you are in the position to recover the disabled vehicle from its location. With the entire assembly attached properly you will be able to tug on, back up ,and have any amount of slack in the strap at any time, and IT WILL NOT BECOME UNATTACHED until the user disconnects it. This will keep the vehicles secure and safe while dislodging it. It also prevents either end to come off and snap wildly creating a severe safety hazard, possibly resulting in death. No other strap has this feature. The unit break strength is rated at 12,900 pounds. The strap break strength is rated at 10,120 pounds. The webbing will seperate at that point, and is designed to fall to the ground and not whip wildly. The steel shackle is rated at 3 1/4 tons. The strap length is 20 feet.
